It is a disgrace, however, since the geisha contributed much to Japan. They gave splendour, grace, and beauty to a formerly remote culture. They revitalized the separated nation with their fame throughout the humankind. They were famous in European and Western cultures a long time ago. The way of Geisha was once, and still is, a very important feature of Japanese culture and society.
