Dead Flowers
In this drawing, I wanted to capture something we all experience: how time moves on, and how even beautiful things eventually change or fade. You’ll notice skulls and bones mixed in with vibrant flowers, leaves, and plants. For me, this isn’t meant to be scary, but rather a way to think about life’s constant cycles.
It’s about the power of nature to keep going, to find new life even in decay. The plants growing from the skulls show that even when one form ends, new beauty can emerge. It’s a quiet reflection on how things might physically decay, but there’s a certain timelessness to the spirit or the energy that continues.
This piece is a gentle reminder that while our bodies are temporary, there’s an enduring part of us, like a soul or essence, that isn’t bound by the clock. It’s a celebration of nature’s endless story, where everything is connected in a beautiful, ongoing dance.
