New work in progress: Jimi Hendrix Tribute Illustration – part2

This is my second illustration/portrait dedicated to guitar genius of Jimi Hendrix. Made with my old Wacom tablet, the base drawing I am working on is made entirely in Corel Painter XI using stylus pen and digital inks. The next image – a fully finished base drawing – will be here soon. A digital ink is an unique feature, very close to real media liquid Indian ink, but the final visual style could be close to old school engraving. It is a time consuming process, where a some sort of patience is required, especially if the image is large, or extremely detailed.
